God Did That…

And I Know it’s True!

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. (Ps 150:6)

Gen 1:9-11:

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. (Gen 1:9)
And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. (Gen 1:10)
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. (Gen 1:11)

Gen 1:20-21:

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. (Gen 1:20)
And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (Gen 1:21)

Every morning when I get up, I look out of the windows and see all the creations of God in front of me and thank Him for the day He has given me. I didn’t always do this in my life; but as I’ve gotten older, my appreciation of everything the Lord has done increases a hundred-fold.

What a sweet country song to remind us of all the blessings that the Lord God Almighty has given us and the beauty of all His creations:

God Did That | Cody McCarver | Lyrics:

Ps 33:6-9:

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. (Ps 33:6)
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. (Ps 33:7)
Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. (Ps 33:8)
For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. (Ps 33:9
)

Have you ever wondered why the sky is blue?
Have you ever felt the morning dew?

Have you ever wondered why the grass is green?
And why a sunset can bring you peace?

God did that and I don’t know why
He filled the oceans and made the deserts dry

God did that and I believe it’s true
Who am I to ask, God did that

A new born baby cries out
The Mississippi river flows south

Sometimes it rains on a sunny day
And a sunrise makes the darkness go away

Well God did that and I don’t know why
He filled the oceans and made the deserts dry

God did that and I believe it’s true
Who am I to ask, God did that

Who would grow a tree, just to build a cross?
And send his Son to die so I wouldn’t be lost

God did that, I don’t know why
He filled the oceans and made the deserts dry

God did that, I believe it’s true

Who am I to ask, ‘Cause God did that

Who am I to ask, God did that

Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains. (Ps 147:8)

The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered. (Prov 27:25)

Eccl 1:5-7:

The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose. (Eccl 1:5)
The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits. (Eccl 1:6)
All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again. (Eccl 1:7)

Seems in this busy world today, people don’t take enough time to stop and smell the roses, as they say.

A day is soon coming when there won’t be anymore left, if “the powers that be” have their way!

But God even has a word for those people!

And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. (Rev 11:18)

Would be better for all to repent a Biblical repentance while there is still time. Amen.
