any thing, neither he that watereth;
but God that giveth the increase.
(1Cor 3:7)
And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. (Isa 35:8)
I have entered the strait gate and am walking the narrow way to find eternal life at the end of the road, as was commanded by Jesus Christ.
¶ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: (Matt 7:13)
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matt 7:14)
¶ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Matt 7:15)
¶ And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. (Luke 9:23)
¶ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (Matt 28:19)
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matt 28:20)
I became a “Christian” in 1999 and entered in at the strait gate in the year 2000. I am still waiting for the revelation of Jesus Christ (John 14:21), but He is good for His promise, and so I continue to wait to be born again. (John 3:3-8)
For more detailed information about my journey, see “My Testimony” on this blog site.
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. (Ps 27:14)
In your patience possess ye your souls. (Luke 21:19)
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. (Heb 10:37)
The idea of this blog is to share my experiences as I follow Jesus Christ and post some of my bible verses / word studies along with my thoughts about where the journey has taken me over the years.
I pray this site will edify someone and help anyone who reads it realize that God is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34); that anyone and everyone who wants to, can enter the strait gate and walk the narrow way. It doesn’t matter what you did in your former life; God takes your last state before Him to judge you. (Eze 18:20-24)

The song “Long Black Train” reminds me of the warning from Jesus about the “many” who chose the “broad way” and the fake teachers and preachers who led them astray… (Mt 7:13-15)
Lyrics
There’s a long black train
Comin’ down the line
Feedin’ off the souls that are lost and cryin’
Rails of sin only evil remains
Watch out brother for that long black train
Look to the heavens
You can look to the skies
You can find redemption
Starin’ back into your eyes
There is protection and there’s peace the same
Burnin’ your ticket for that long black train
‘Cause there’s vict’ry in the Lord, I say
Vict’ry in the Lord
Cling to the Father and His holy name
And don’t go ridin’ on that long black train
There’s an engineer on that long black train
Makin’ you wonder if the ride is worth the pain
He’s just a waitin’ on your heart to say
Let me ride on that long black train
But you know there’s vict’ry in the Lord, I say
Vict’ry in the Lord
Cling to the Father and his holy name
And don’t go ridin’ on that long black train
Well, I can hear the whistle from a mile away
It sounds so good
But I must stay away
That train is a beauty makin’ everybody stare
But its only destination is the middle of nowhere
But you know there’s vict’ry in the Lord, I say
Vict’ry in the Lord
Cling to the Father and His holy name
And don’t go ridin’ on that long black train
I said cling to the Father and His holy name
And don’t go ridin’ on that long black train
Yeah, watch out brother for that long black train
That devil’s a drivin’ that long black train
(Mt 7:13-15)

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Matt 7:15)
Also from Peter: (2Pet 2:1-2)
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2Pet 2:1)
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. (2Pet 2:2)
