Hallelujah…

Praise ye the Lord!!!

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. (Ps 104:33)

As blessed as I have been throughout my life, and especially these past couple of years, I find myself wondering about this world as I journey through it. How much longer can it possibly be before the Lord says ENOUGH?!

As my dear husband always says whenever the world starts getting the better of him, “Don’t give me the fire from heaven Lord!” And I’m sure in my unregenerate state I would have hit the delete button long ago; then I remember…..Patience, the Lord has it all under control.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. (Ps 27:14)

The only real joy there seems to be for me lately is in watching the animals outside, in awe of all God’s creation, but mostly watching babies and children. These are the little ones Jesus speaks of and commands us to become like in order to enter His Kingdom.

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Matt 18:3)

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (Matt 18:4)

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. (Luke 18:16)

Perhaps that’s why He has led me to these videos recently, as a reminder of what my focus should be on; obedience to the word of God and coming to Him as a little child while on this cross-walk, attempting to follow after Jesus.

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. (Luke 9:23)

The previous post I made was of an amazing little 10 year old autistic, blind boy who sang praises to the Lord like he had not a care in the world and was full of joy.

I came across the next video shortly after discovering that young boy. This little girl doesn’t appear to have any disabilities and she sings like an angel. It’s hard to believe she is so young with a voice like this. What a blessing from the Lord!

Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. (Ps 33:3)

I find her voice to be very soothing. She is so unassuming in her demeanor and naturally unpretentious; humble, just as Jesus described.

It breaks my heart to see all that is going on in the world today and how much innocence has been taken away from the children.

I pray all who watch and listen to this find some solace through this video, while in this world, knowing God’s Kingdom will be filled with these beautiful little ones in the world to come.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

It took me awhile before I was able to find the lyrics to the version of the song she is singing, but thank you Jesus, the Lord finally supplied them.

Lyrics

I heard there was a secret chord

That David played and he pleased the Lord

But you don’t really know that music do ya

It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth,

The minor fall and the major lift

The King of all composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah,

I know that there’s a God above

There’s evidence in all the love

Creation is enough to prove it to ya

And when He says there’s day from night,

And then He commanded let there be Light

And every breath He drew was hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah,

The angels sang at the Saviour’s birth

Its echo still heard around the earth

The beauty and the Spirit says He knew you

The babe was brought with so much care

Below all things, but God was there

And from your lips He drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah,

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
