Dream of The Narrow Way…

I never wrote this down before because it has been something, I believe, was from the Lord and remains as clear as the night of this dream/vision.

It was very early on in my journey down the narrow way; probably in the year 2000, close to 2001. And no, it wasn’t a “space odyssey”!

It started with me walking down a street that was on a slight hill. It was as though I was actually there, not watching myself, but having the experience in real time. I noticed it was like dusk; shortly before the sun goes down. It reminded me of Alaska, in late November, it never gets completely dark there.

In my dream, I was headed to what appeared to be a school “of higher learning”? I took a seat in this classroom and there was a big television at the front where there was also an instructor. He turned on the TV and although I have no idea what was being taught, I started complaining that it was a lie; they weren’t telling the truth. I was disrupting the class and the “teacher” got so upset he demanded I leave and go down to see the “principal”!

I remember it was a very cold building, made of cement and steel as I walked down a couple flights of stairs, where my fate awaited me. As I opened the door to go into the “principal’s” office, something inside of me (no doubt the Holy Ghost) said RUN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN and GET OUT OF HERE!!! SO that’s what I did.

I got into a car and started driving until the road became very narrow, only one lane, with lots of twists and turns. I had to go very slowly and every once in a while I would see someone walking down the road, all alone. I have no idea why I was the only one driving; never really thought about it until just now. Anyway, this road went on for what seemed like forever, with just an occasional person going in the same direction as I was.

I’d been driving a very long time when I noticed it wasn’t as dark as it had been and the further I drove the lighter it got. It finally got so bright I could hardly see and then all of the sudden I was coming into a town I guess and there were lots and lots of people there. They were ecstatic, all of them smiling and cheering as they greeted me. I’d finally made it to my new home...

That’s when I woke up. It was a wonderful dream that reminds me of just how long this journey can be, but it leadeth unto life eternal, with patience.
