Down In The Pit…

Down in the pit, that’s where I belong

For I am fallen, and know right from wrong

So I pray to the Father, day after day

As I walk down the path, He calls the “Narrow Way”

For the covering of Agape, from the Lord Jesus Christ

To be shown unto me, that I might not die twice

Patience said the Lord, and do what I say

Pick up your own cross, and I’ll lead the way

The problem, you see, is your dark wicked heart

And until you do yours, I can’t do my part

And although He may tarry

  While you’re walking “The Way”

He did after all, promise not to delay…

~ Wayfaring Gal ~

For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave. (Ps 88:3)

Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps. (Ps 88:6)

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Hab 2:3)

For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. (Heb 10:37)

A fellow sojourner on the way sent me the following beautiful musical piece, along with this bit of wisdom:

“I’ve also found certain music to be a true friend along the way. This one always reminds me of the longing and hope in the midst of our walk through the valley.”

    1. Thank you, but I can’t take the credit; it was The Holy Spirit…
God bless you brother, and may He keep safe under His wings until the end of time.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Ps 91:4)
